The Sale of Enoksro

As some of you may know, SASSE are in the process of selling its lovely property in Älgö, Saltsjöbaden.

SOME HISTORY

In 1937, the Wallenberg family donated land in Saltsjöbaden to SASSE. A small cottage, named Enoksro, was built and quickly became a weekend retreat for students during stressful exam periods. Reports indicate parties was held there as early as the 1940s and 1950s and it has, since then, been used by countless of students for recreation and festivities.

WHAT IS ENOKSRO?

Here, the possibilities of student life activities at Enoksro has been endless for almost 90 years. Hangouts, BBQs, morning swims, crayfish dinners, sleepovers and many more are examples of activities.

THE CURRENT SITUATION

Because of issues with the property’s registration, the association has decided to sell the house and buy a new one. This means that we are currently looking for a new home for our Enok, Henok and Enokas for generations to come.
