Facts or fiction? Gender differences in risk taking It is often argued that men are more risk taking than women. But how large is this difference and what is it due to? In this talk we will cover recent work on understanding and explaining the gender gap in economic risk taking. Anna Dreber Almenberg is a professor of economics in the Department of Economics at SSE. She is a Wallenberg Scholar, an Editor at the Journal of Political Economy Microeconomics and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Tough Viking Sports Practice

ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE? Of course, you are! Welcome to the Sasse Tough Viking practice where we work out together for about an hour at different stations with a focus on strength combined with some cardio. Together we'll push and encourage our fellow Vikings and make sure to have a lot of fun while kicking ass! It's like circuit training, just tougher, and more fun :) Please bring sporty clothes, and, optionally a towel and fresh clothes if you want to go to the sauna afterward. If you want to, you can join us for the Tough Viking race on the 6th of May 2023. More info regarding the race will be released soon. No previous experience is needed!
