Spring Stock Competition

Dear students at Uppsala University, Lunds University and Stockholm School of Economics!

During these times of uncertainty in the world, it can be frightening to invest your money in the stock market. Luckily you now have the chance to try out investing in stocks without actually losing your money. This spring’s Stock Competition is finally here and anyone who wishes to participate is welcome, no matter previous experience. Which four companies do you think will perform the best during the coming weeks?

In this competition, you will choose four different stocks listed on Stockholmsbörsen or the US stock market, that you think will perform the best during 21st of march – 7th of april. The three participants with the best average percentage increase will win the competition.

The registration is open from 11th of march – 18th of march 23.59 and the initial stock price for each of the four contributions will be based off march 18th’s closing price. The final stock price will be based off april 7th’s closing price.

The winners will be announced during a prize ceremony in Handelshögskolans event floor on april 8th and the evening will continue with a fun party.

A prize with a total value of 10 000 SEK will rewarded to the winners, of which 7 500 SEK will be given in cash.

In order to participate you need to be a member of Uppsalaekonomerna or Lundaekonomerna or a student at Stockholm School of Economics.
