SASSE Scholarship

The Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics offers a scholarship for studies abroad through the Jubilee Foundation. The scholarship is intended for summer studies at Harvard or Stanford.

THE SASSE SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship intended for those who have made great contributions to the Student Association through their work. The focus will be placed on merits from the Student Association. The scholarship covers summer studies at Harvard or Stanford.

CRITERIA
4 § The SASSE Scholarship has the following criteria:
- The student must have completed at least two semesters at SSE.
- Focus is placed on achievements within the Student Association.
- A broad background within the Student Association along with a spirit of initiative, and innovation are favored.
- The applicant should have satisfactory results from their studies. Such results may, however, not be the deciding factor for the granting of the scholarship.
- The summer studies at Harvard or Stanford must be started within 18 months of the student receiving the scholarship.
APPLICATION
14 § Valid applications must:
- Be sent in a separate email marked with name, registration number (student ID), and the scholarship applied for (SASSE Scholarship). The email shall be sent to selectioncommittee@sasse.se.
- Be written in English.
- Contain a detailed list of study results at SSE, grades in each course, as well as dates when exams were passed.
- Contain a CV, as well as a brief resume of all SASSE engagements. The CV must include name, mobile number, email address, enrollment year, and registration number.
- All bigger SASSE engagements shall also contain a reference so that the engagement can be confirmed.
- The student must also enclose a personal letter of a maximum of two A4 pages stating why the criteria in 4 § are met. The personal letter must also state the name and registration number.

The paragraphs are from the statutes the foundation has decided upon for the scholarships. Applications that diverge from the terms supplied will not be handled. Your application will be handled in accordance with PUL. The applications will only be handled by the selection committee which consists of SASSE alumni. The scholarship covers expenses up to 100 000 SEK (tuition fees, lodging, and travel).

The 2025 scholarship application is open from 19th of December until 23:59 on the 26th of January
