Welcome to the Women’s Finance Day!

Do you want to be part of one of SASSE’s largest fair? Do you want to make an impact in increasing the number of women working in the financial sector? – Then Women’s Finance Day is the perfect project for you!

Women’s Finance Day is an interactive career fair arranged by the Student Association at Stockholm School of Economics. Every year, numerous global financial institutions participate and take part in the grand fair. Companies and lecturers are exposed to first-hand contact with ambitious business students.

The underrepresentation of women in the financial sector is a challenge for future talent provision and we are here to tackle it. Women’s Finance Day aims to inspire and engage the female students at Stockholm School of Economics to further pursue a career within finance and the business world. Through the career fair and various surrounding events, we strive to increase the curiosity for the finance sector and its different career paths among our talented female students.

Lead, or be part of a Project Group

No matter if you are a project leader or part of the project group, you will be able to develop your collaborative skills in order to organize the best event possible! And of course meet lots of friends along the way!

Improve Creativity & Planning Skills

Whether you are helping the event team plan the banquet or creating the floor plan for the event or event being a part of the communication skills, you will be able to develop you creativity skills when making the WFD vision come to life!

Networking Opportunities

Through being part of the WFD group, you will have the chance to have close contact with companies and take part in exclusive events only provided to the project group, allowing you to network with different companies and grow you connections.

Grow Friendships

Being part of a project group with a total of 60 students, you will be able to work with students you may not have worked with previously and develop new friendships!

Develop your Professional Skills

Working with the WFD team, you will be able to develop new professional skills such as how to communicate with companies and develop contracts. These tasks will also help you develop negotiating skills which will be useful for the future!

Get to know the different teams!

In this team, you will be working closely with the head of communications in developing the WFD website and creating the content that will be published on our platforms! Through this team, you’ll be able to develop photography and photoshop skills.

Together with the Head of Program, you’ll manage inspirational lectures and events, handle speaker contacts, and ensure smooth execution on fair day—blending creativity with professional skill development. Additionally, you’ll coordinate interviews between companies and students, overseeing planning, marketing, scheduling, and logistics to ensure a seamless process for all involved.

Interested in planning banquets and parties? Then this is the team for you. Together with Head of Events, you will help to plan the annual WFD banquet and afterparty – you’ll oversee food, entertainment, and the evening team to ensure a seamless and delightful experience. Help to create a captivating atmosphere, bringing unique ideas to life for both the banquet and after-party.

As a Company Associate, your main task is to sign companies for Women’s Finance Day 2023, offering you the chance to network and build valuable connections. This role allows you to refine your skills in communication, sales, and negotiation through planning and closing business deals.

Being part of team fair, you will be involved in managing the logistics, including layout, decorations, deliveries, and the fair floor, requiring quick thinking and problem-solving. Additionally, you will help to coordinate the company & student lounge, ensuring a relaxing and welcoming environment for company reps and students.

In Team Spons you will have the chance to collaborate closely with numerous company, ensuring that Women’s Finance Day 2024 is well sufficed with breathtaking spons! This includes spons for the well-known spons bags, the fair-lounges, the lectures, and the events.
