Have you ever been wondering about the importance and value of natural resources and ecosystems for our societies and economies as well as welfare? Have you been thinking about how financial policies can drive sustainable development? Welcome to a lecture on Ecological Economics with Thomas Hahn, associate professor at the Stockholm Resilience Center! We will discuss and question the relationships between GDP, green growth, sustainable development and welfare.
The lecture will be at 17.15 on Thursday the 30th of March in 750 and it will be held in English. SEK (Socialdemokratiska Ekonomklubben) will provide fika! Sign up through the google forms link, and if you have any questions you can DM us on our Instagram: @sek_hhs.
The lecture is followed by a discussion about these very topical issues and the role economics has to play in order to reach a more sustainable development.
In true SEK-spirit, the discussions continue over a beer afterwards.
Warm welcome! //SEK
