Subject: CEO TRAINEE AT KINNEVIK – ARE YOU OUR NEXT LUMA?

Join Kinnevik’s lunch lecture on the 5 th of October, where the CEO of

Kinnevik, Georgi Ganev, and the current LUMA, Zaki Ghazal, will present the

role and Kinnevik.

We are looking for LUMA #38. As LUMA at Kinnevik you will work closely with the CEO and the rest

of the management team for a year, both with the daily and strategic work. You will be responsible for,

and part of many different projects within many lines of business. During your time as LUMA you will

get unique insight into what it means to run an international and agile investment company, get the

chance to build a broad professional network within the Kinnevik sphere, and gain valuable tools and

experiences for your future career.

The word LUMA is derived from the Latin word lumen, meaning light. LUMA was the name given

to the position when it first was instituted in 1977 when Kinnevik was looking for its first talented

trainee, whose head was to shine as bright as a lamp. For us, that means that we are looking for a

person who is curios, humble, has an interest in business and can quickly adapt to new situations. You

should be a self-driven problem-solver who enjoys challenges and has strong analytical skills. We are

looking for a person with integrity, sociability, and communicative competences.
