The good news is that effective altruism is not doomed\, but the puzzle does reveal some surprising and valuable lessons about altruism. (Be ready to be shocked)\n\nWe have a distinguished guest that will give an introduction to the topic and then bridge towards a discussion with and between the audience. Professor Krister Bykvist is a professor in Practical Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy\, Stockholm University and Institute for Futures Studies. Previously\, he has taught and conducted research in Oxford and Cambridge.
