Welcome to this art talk with opera singer Tove Dahlberg on Tuesday May 3rd 12-13 in Ragnar. How come the world and the economy are ever-changing but at the same time, some never challenge tradition?
Tove Dahlberg, PhD student at Stockholm University of the Arts, visits SSE and hosts an Art Talk on gender portrayal in 18th century opera. In her show “Patterns and Possibilities: portraying gender in 18th century opera” (Mönster och möjligheter: att gestalta genus i 1700-talsopera), she provides us with a challenging and fresh perspective on equality, gender norms and tradition.
